On Saturday, April 4, 2026, age 78, of Millvale. Beloved Husband of 36 years to Georgianne J. Fishinger. Loving Father of Will (Jen) Fishinger, Brandi (Kenneth) Kearns, and Beau Fishinger. Uncle of Louie Breitenbach and Dana Sauers. Also survived by his furry companion, Bear. Friends received Saturday, 12 Noon- 5 PM at the Hahn FH & Cremation Services Inc., 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Blessing Service Saturday, 5 :30PM Bill proudly served the Borough of Millvale as a dedicated police officer for 28 years, earning the respect and gratitude of his community through his commitment and service. Beyond his career in law enforcement, he was a man of many passions and talents. He enjoyed writing poetry, often expressing his thoughts and experiences through his words, and found great peace in hunting and fishing. Bill also pursued a career in professional wrestling, where he was known by his ring name, "The Patriot", embodying strength, resilience, and pride. In his leisure time, he loved riding his Harley, embracing the freedom of the open road. A proud Vietnam veteran, Bill served with distinction as an 82nd Airborne Ranger. His bravery and sacrifice were recognized with three Purple Hearts, as well as the Bronze Star, Silver Star, and numerous other military honors. He also had a love for animals, especially dogs. He will be remembered for his courage, creativity, and unwavering dedication to both his country and his community.
