Timothy "Big Lou" Gapsky

Gapsky Timothy  M. "Big Lou" Unexpectedly on January 23, 2024, age 57, of Shaler Twp. Son of the late Dennis and Coralee Gapsky. Brother of Dennis Jr. (Denese) Gapsky, Thomas (Cindy) Gapsky, and Lori Ann (Zoey) Gapsky. Uncle of Jennifer, Amy, David, Dennis III, Thomas Jr., Kimberly, and Andy (his Godson) Also survived by four great-nieces nad one great nephew. Friends received Friday 2-8 PM and Saturday 10 Am until time of services at 1 PM at the Hahn FH & Cremation Services Inc. 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Tim was a driver with Allegheny County DPW District 1,  and a member of the teamster local #249,  He also was a member of the DOH Club, The Jockey Club, The Polish Club and the VFW in Shaler. Tim was a dedicated member of the Shaler Area community, serving as a School Board Director for over 10 years. He would attend athletic and extra curricular events during his tenure and always supported the Titans. People who knew Tim, knew that he was the one who put "Area" in Shaler Area School District. Family has asked those paying their respects to wear your favorite Titan garb to the viewing. In lieu of flowers, family asks that you donate in Tim's honor to any Shaler Area Athletics or Extracurricular activites.
