Rosemarie C. (Walsh) Williams

Born May 26, 1930, to Larry and Catherine Rose (Meister) Walsh. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Williams, and brothers Larry Charles (Elizabeth Schreiber), August (Joanne Curry), and John Walsh. She is survived by her younger brother, Albert (Evelyn "Bunny") Walsh. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Rose was a lifelong resident of Millvale (Cherry City) and a faithful member of Millvale United Methodist Church. She married her childhood sweetheart, Jim, and according to her family, they were inseparable. She started Bell Telephone as an operator, working her way up to private secretary, and retired from there. After her retirement, she volunteered at Meals on Wheels in Millvale and the VA Hospital. Rose was a cancer survivor, a religious person, and someone who would help out anyone for anything. In her last years, she suffered from dementia and lived at Arden Courts until her passing on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Visitation is on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the HAhn FH & Cremation Services Inc. 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Services Friday 11 AM. Rose will be laid to rest next to her husband at Allegheny County Memorial Park.
