On Thursday, January 18, 2024, age 93, Of Millvale. Beloved Husband of Helen Mehler. Loving Father of Kathleen Mehler, Robert (Nancy) Mehler, Charles Mehler, Mary (Robert) Grable, Martha Mehler, and Michael (late, Tina) Mehler. 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Friends will be received on Saturday from 4-8 PM and Sunday from 2-8 PM at the Hahn Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., Inc. 123 North Avenue Millvale, Pa 15209. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM St. Matthew Parish, Holy Spirit Church. Bob was the owner of Esther's Hobby Shop, which he ran for the past 86 years. He also was the first President of the Millvale Borough Planning Commission, which became the Millvale Borough Redevelopment Authority, thereby permitting the Borough to obtain funding for revitalization of the community.
