Richard S. Miksic

On Friday, August 5, 2022, age 92, of Shaler Twp. Beloved Husband of the late Patricia Miksic. Loving Father of Janet M. (Jerry) Pino, Mark R. Miksic, and the late Jacqueline M. Maloney (Tom Caras). Proud Pappy of Marcy (Jorge) Lima, Michele (Ryan) Erb, Katherine Maloney, Megan (Thomas) Doane, and Allyson (Tyler) Traeger. Step Grandfather of Brian (Laura) Pino and Terri (Thomas) Buck. Great Grandfather of Nathan, Nicholas, and Jack Doane, Ayla Erb, Cecilia and Adeline Lima, Jacob, Jerod, and the late Lauren Buck, and Samuel Pino. Brother of Jack (Mary Lynn) Miksic. Brother-in-law of Raymond Rogalsky and Sister-in-law Kathy Christian. Also Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Prior to his retirement, he had many administrator positions with Bell Atlantic and AT&T. He and Pat took many fun trips and cruises while raising his family. Rich also enjoyed yearly family vacations to Nags Head, North Carolina. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years and past Grand Knight of Council 4029. Rich was a long time member of the Usher’s Club, along with serving as an Eurcharistic Minister. He was a man of high moral character who lived his religion. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends received Saturday 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Hahn FH & Cremation Services Inc. 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM, St. Matthew Parish, Holy Spirit Church.
