Raymond M Gibson Jr.

On Thursday, December 25, 2025, age 77, of the North Side. Son of the late Raymond Sr. and Mary Gibson. Former Spouse of 24 years to Veronica Steigerwald Gibson. Father of Adam (Kim) Gibson, late, Matthew Gibson, Hope (Jim) Edwards, Dawn (Joshua) Frobe, Monica, her companion, Rick, Chandler. 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of Linda Sterner and Maryann Frederick, and the late Walter Gibson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation is by invitation only, per Raymond's children. Please contact them. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Monica to help defray the cost of the funeral. Raymond graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. He was a personal chef for the Officers' Club at Ft Drum, Watertown, NY, and for Major General Phillip B. Davidson Jr. He retired from the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh. He also worked in the Youth Development Center in New Castle. Ray also served in the US Army. from 1969-1972.
