Michael Robert Katafiasz

On April 26th, 2025, Michael Robert Katafiasz (56), of Shaler, was unexpectedly taken from this earth, due to underlying health conditions. Michael was hard working and dedicated. Despite his many responsibilities he always made time for his family. He would do everything he could for his family and friends. He left his mark on this earth by how he lived his life, with his gentle soul and heart of gold. He was a friend to all. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. Michael is survived by his Mother and Step-Father, Maryann and Michael Napierkowski, his Father and Step-Mother Robert and Brenda Katafiasz. As well as his sisters Cynthia and Lori (Mike), his Step-Brother Jim, his neice Breanna (Logan), and great-neice Olivia and several aunts and cousins. Michael's wishes were always to be cremated and for the family to have celebration of life for family and friends. Cremation is being handled through Hahn Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc in Millvale
