MARY LOUISE SCHULTZ

Mary Lou Schultz, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by loved ones on October 4, 2021. She was born August 21, 1927, in Millvale, PA, and lived in the same house she was born in for the first 77 years of her life. In her later years, she continued to make friends in both Twinsburg and Hilliard, Ohio. In addition to her faith in God, what was most important to Mary Lou in life was love, family, and a sense of humor. She happily shared this with family, friends, and everyone who was blessed to know her. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents John and Edna Penn, brothers John and Norbert Penn, husband Albert Schultz, son William (Susan) Schultz, granddaughter Carrie Schultz (Rob) Touzet, and great-granddaughter Sofia Touzet. Her legacy lives on through her family and friends including daughter Kathleen (Peter) Granger, grandchildren Gary (Michelle) Schultz, Richard (Bridget) Granger, Laura Granger, and great-grandchildren Chloe Touzet and Nora Granger. Visitation will be held at Hahn Funeral Home, 123 North Ave, Millvale, PA 15209 on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm (masks required). Mass will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at St. Matthew Parish, Holy Spirit Church, 608 Farragut St, Pittsburgh, PA 15209. The mass will be immediately followed by burial at St. Augustine Cemetery, 250 Wible Run Road. Pittsburgh, PA. 15209.
