Gayle Bonnie Dietz, 76, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 4, 1949, Gayle built a life centered around the people that she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and Nunnie, whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and care. Gayle is survived by her husband George of 51 years, children: George (Aimee), Paul (Sarah), and Ray (Andrea). She was a proud and loving Nunnie to Tabby, Gavin, James, William, Lillee, Henry, Cameron, and Finley. Her brother Raymond Brittner (Jane) and their family. Her sister-in-law Sharlene Brittner and her family. Along with many lifelong friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Dolores Brittner, her brother Jim Brittner, and her mother-in-law Julie Dietz. She loved simple moments that brought family together - trips to Erie, visits to Kraynak's Christmasland, baking with her grandkids, playing cards, and spending time in her garden. Whether tending to flowers or gathering with her friends and family, Gayle found happiness in the everyday beauty of life and the people around her. Gayle will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, her deeply rooted Christian faith, and the love she had for her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
