On Monday, October 27, 2025, age 76, of Shaler Twp, originally of Millvale. Beloved Husband of 54 years to Linda L. "Popp" Manners. Loving Father of Jeffrey (Jennifer) Manners. Brother of Florence (William) Parnell. Uncle of Glenn Thomas. Services and visitation are private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to an animal welfare organization of your choice. Fred worked at the VA as an X-ray technician for nearly 40 years. He had a deep love of animals, especially his loyal German Shepherd, Sheba. Fred enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly pheasant hunting with his son, and he took great pride in coaching his son's baseball team.
