David M. Connelly "Slowski"

On Thursday, June 25, 2026, age 76, of Millvale. Born on April 6, 1950, in the Alingtonton neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dave was the son of the late Roseanne and John Connelly Jr. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine Connelly, and his siblings, Jimmy and Phyllis. Dave is survived by his son, Sean, wife Krisey, and grandson, Landon Connelly. his daughter, Erin Connelly, and his siblings, Marc and John Connelly.  He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and neighbors who will cherish his memory. Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he worked in Environmental Services management for several hospitals, spent time working at a local VFW, and later enjoyed a career as a long-haul truck driver until his retirement. For the past 20 years, Dave called Millvale home, where he formed many lasting friendships and became part of a close-knit community. He especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and took great pride in watching his grandson, Landon, affectionately known as "My Buddy," grow up. Dave will be remembered for his service to his country, his loyalty to his friends, and the love he had for his family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family extends their gratitude to all who have offered their support, prayers, and condolences during this difficult time.
