Christopher B. ("Brownie") Doven

Christopher "Brownie" Bernard Doven.

On Saturday, October 11, 2025 age 73 of Bauerstown.  Longtime companion of 33 years to the late Donna Werner.  Beloved son of the late Frank & Josephine Doven.  Brother of Mary (Fred) Illig of Etna, Maggie (Patrick) McNeilly of West End, the late JoAnn (Robert) Rosak, Frank Doven, Barbara McNeilly, and Michael Doven .  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Diane Doven.  Friends received 2-8 pm on Tuesday, October 14th at the Hahn Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., Inc. 123 North Avenue, Millvale, where services will be held at 7 pm, Minister Christopher Fisher.   Brownie was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed bowling, darts, and loved playing at the casino with Donna.  He was employed at the Duquesne Club, where he retired after 43 years.  He was an all around good guy and will be missed by many.
