Barbara (Dernus) Knierim

On Monday, May 13, 2019, age 101, of Millvale. Beloved Wife of the late Elmer Knierim. Daughter of the late Martin and Barbara Dernus. Mother of Robert (Patricia) and Edward and the late Albert Knierim. Grandmother of Joanne, Rebecca, Barbara, Jacqueline, Melissa, Alyssa, and Nicholas. Great grandmother of Jacob, Isabella, Garrett, Cameron, Preston, Emma, Joshua, and Sophia. Sister of the late Anna Marie Riegler, Elizabeth Knochel, and Mary Wokutch, Martin, Nicholas, Lawrence and John Dernus. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received Thursday 2- 8 PM at the Hahn FH & Cremation Services Inc. 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 AM Holy Spirit Church. Barbara was active in the Christian Mother's, The VFW Ladies Auxillary, and she volunteered at the Millvale Senior Center.
