Anne E. (Zelenak) Kisak

Age 56, of Ohio Township, on September 22, 2023 after a long courageous battle with cancer.  Loving wife of Steve and mother of Anne and Andrew; sister to Marie (Paul) Ireland; daughter of Richard Zelenak and Deanne (Don) Davis; aunt to Jacob, Zachary, Bryce, and Luke.  She was a source of strength and inspiration to her friends and all that knew her.  A lifelong caregiver, she spent much of her career in oncology, both as a nurse and nurse educator.  Always moving forward, she received her Nurse Practitioner license and finished her career in geriatric care and as faculty at Carlow University. Her greatest joy and accomplishment, though, was being “Mean Mom” to her kids and bonus kids whom she loved, supported, and adored.

In keeping with her wishes, family and friends will be received from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Friday, September 29, 2023 at St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church, in Newmeyer Hall (in the basement of the church).  Memorial mass with be on Saturday, September 30th at 10 AM at All Saints Church in Etna.  In lieu of flowers, that family asks that donations be sent to the Hillman Cancer Center where Anne received the most amazing care.
