Thomas Peter Hollinger Sr.

On Wednesday, August 12, 2020 age 89 of Millvale/Shaler.  Beloved husband of 63 years of the late Rita Hollinger.  Exceptional father of Linda Sokol(Edward), Thomas Peter Hollinger Jr.(Kymberly Hambleton), Alan Hollinger(Cindy) and the late Leo Hollinger.  Grace-filled  Grandfather of 11 grandchildren.  Sensitive & Loving great grandfather of 12 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Robert, Edward, Raymond, David and MaryAnn Merzlak.  Tom was a Korean War Veteran (Staff Sgt) with the US Maine Corp, life long member of Holy Spirit Parish and member of People of God Community, a man of faith, a gardener, camper, fisherman, lover of ice cream and all things sweet.  Friends will be received Sunday, 2-8pm at the Hahn Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 123 North Ave.  Millvale, PA 15209.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, 10am, in Holy Spirit Parish, Millvale, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:  SouthWestern, PA Veteran's Center, 7060 Highland Dr., Pittsburgh, Pa 15206.
