Robert (Bob) Nist

Passed peacefully on January 19, 2022. Devoted husband of 40 years to Jeanne (Schachner) Nist. Loving father to Sarah (Jon) Mihalic and David (Alisha) Nist. Extremely proud grandfather of Tyler, Leah, Liam and Joni. Beloved Son of Esther (Lou) Nist and loyal brother to Rick (Pam) Nist. Treasured uncle of Kristen (Keith) Nick (Lindsay) and Rachel (Alec). Second Dad to Jarret (Danielle and Kali) Schopf. Friend to many. To know Bob was to be his friend. It's impossible to put in to words what he was to so many people that loved him. He was one of the most kind-hearted and generous men that ever walked this earth. He was a respected pharmacist for many years, for Thrift Drug, Eckerd, Giant Eagle and Xpress Scripts. He was a brilliant man, loved to cook for his family, have too much fun with his grandkids, take his children to the beach and spend time with his dogs, Eddie and Sadie. Funeral mass Monday, January 24th at 10AM, St. Matthew's Parish, Holy Spirit Church. In lieu of flowers, Bob would love it if donations were made to an animal rescue charity. Jesses Place (savethelabs.com) helped to rescue his beloved Eddie. He also supported Hello Bully and Animal Friends.
