Unexpectedly, On March 21, 2023, age 81, of Millvale. Beloved husband of 65 years to Mary Lou "Sue" Schindler. Father of Joseph (Laurie) Schindler, Janine Kirker, and the late Richard and Robert Schindler. Father-in-Law of Karen Schindler. Grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 6. Brother of Frederick, Remy, William and Anthony Schindler, and Terri Bohn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received Thursday 6-8 PM and Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Hahn FH & Cremation Services Inc. 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 AM St. Matthew Parish, Holy Spirit Church. Bob was a Past-Chief of Cherry City Fire Hall and a member of the Allegheny Rifle Club. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Cherry City Fire Hall.
