Henry Leonard of Shaler Twp celebrated his 90th birthday on Saturday, December 18th, and on Monday, December 27, 2021, peacefully passed. Beloved Husband of 62 years to Jean (Majewski) Szramowski who preceded him in death in 2017. Loving and Proud Father of Kathleen (Mark) McQuade, Daniel (Bonnie) Szramowski, and Paula (Jerry) Imboden. Loving and devoted Pap of Derek McQuade MD, Melissa(Brendan Walsh) Valerie McQuade, Daniel (Jackie), Jamie, and Tara (Brandon Philistine) Szramowski, Zachary, Benjamin, Nathaniel, and the late Nicholas Kotz. Great-grandfather of Cameron and Sloan Szramowski. Also survived by Sister-in-Law's Evelyn and Marie Szramowski as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and their families. Preceded in death by his parents, Waler, a first-generation Polish immigrant, and Mary (Wisniewski), sister, Ruth, husband, Ed Ozimek, brothers, Arthur, wife, Dolores, Stanley, Walter, nephews, grandnieces, and many cherished friends. Dad was proud of growing up on Polish Hill, his heritage, his family, Central Catholic '50 grad where he was a member of the bowling team, serving his country in the Korean War as a US Marines. our dad, Cherry, Hank, Pap, instilled Christian values of family, loyalty, and hard work. There wasn't anything Dad couldn't build or fix. He was an avid golfer, (hole in one at Clover Hill Golf Course), bowler, many years of playing sandlot softball and football. True Pittsburgher, loved the Steelers, Pitt, Dukes, and Iron City beer. Henry earned an associate's degree in accounting from Robert Morris, worked for Dresslers Dairy until they closed, retired from UPS. He and Jean were childhood sweethearts, married in 1955, proud of their family and home. Loved to travel to Ft. Lauderdale, attended their grandchildren's sporting events, and loved to have a good time! Members of st. Matthew Parish, VFW Post 9199, Teamster's Local #249. The Szramowski family will received friends Wednesday 2-8 PM at the Hahn FH & Crematon Services Inc. 123 North Avenue, Millvale. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 12 Noon at St. Matthew Parish, Holy Spirit Church, burial St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
