Wirkowski Edward R. Jr. "Eddie"

On Friday, December 24, 2021, age 78, of Lawrenceville, 6th Ward. Son of the late Edward  Wirkowski Sr. and Leocadia Wirkowski. Beloved Father of Sharon (Tommy) Long and Lori (Jim) Burn. Proud Pappo of Ryan and Oliva Long and Jimmy and Brandon Burn. Brother of Joan Szczypinski, Eugene Wirkowski, Diane Dobda, Earl Wirkowski, Michelle Laughlin, and Eric Wirkowski. Former Husband of Barbara Held, and 20-year companion of Sylvia Troian. A dear friend of Ernie Dzikowski. also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. No visitation. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 AM St. Matthew Parish, Holy Spirit Church. Eddie was a member of the Army National Guard, A city of Pittsburgh police officer, Special Operations, Millvale councilman, Girty's Run Authority, VFW Post #118. He also was a registered electrician. He volunteered at Meals on Wheels, Family House, and many other organizations. He never refused to help a friend. Arrangements by Hahn FH & Cremation Services Inc
