On Thursday, September 6, 2018, age 97, of Millvale. Beloved Wife of the late Otto E. Beran. Loving Mother of James R. (Lorraine "Roposh") Beran. Proud Grandmother of James M. (Dyann) Beran, Jonathan Beran, and Christina (Tommy) McDermott. Loving Great-Grandmother of Luke and Chase Beran. Aunt of Judith "Leglar" (Donald) Coleman. Preceded in death by brothers Walter "Ducky", Raymond "Chas" and Ernie Leglar, and a nephew Ronald (Carol) Leglar. Neighbor and Dear Friend of Debbie "Duffy" Creek and John Goodman. Anna Marie was a child of the Roaring Twenties, witness to the Great Depression, and with her husband, Otto, was a member of the Greatest Generation. She quit school to help her family during the 30's. Forged by the events of her early life, she was a strong and independent woman. Anna Marie was totally dedicated to her family and exceptionally proud of her only son, James, becoming a teacher.
