Lori D. Clair, nee Conrad, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, with her loving husband Norman at her side. We rejoice for Lori's peaceful passing; she flies with the angels. Lori's lifelong passion was serving veterans and her community. As an active member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, she was serving in the position of Pennsylvania State Commander Department at the time of her passing. She volunteered at the VAPHS for 23 years, acting as the VAVS representative for the DAVA. The family asks that she be remembered in the spirit of her service. Lori was the loving daughter of Lawrence D. Conrad Sr. and Elizabeth J. (Lang) Conrad. She was born Nov. 1, 1954, and was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother, Lawrence D. Conrad Jr. A devoted wife, Lori is survived by her husband of 42 years, Norman; her Uncle Bob and Aunt Donna Conrad; her godson, William Conrad; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation is scheduled at HAHN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC. at 123 North Ave., Millvale, PA 15209, 412-821-3700. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017. The DAVA memorial will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the funeral home. An additional memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017, in the funeral home, to be followed by a committal service at Mt. Royal Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the DAVA to hold a memorial party at the VAPHS for the veterans she so loved to serve, or to Millvale United Methodist Church, of which she was a member.
